​Sharlene received her bachelor’s degree in piano from Manhattan School of Music. She started piano lessons at the age of 3, and with the advantage of having perfect pitch as well as strong sight-reading skill, she has displayed her talent in music since very young age.​

After winning the 1st prize in National Music Competition held by the Vienna Musical Educational Foundation at the age of 10, she continued to participate in piano competitions worldwide and has received numerous awards and prizes including the 1st prize in Los Angeles Liszt Competition, 1st prize in CAPMT Bartok Festival, top winner of International Russian Music Piano Competition, best performance awards of Liszt Concert Etude and Hungarian Rhapsody, to list but a few.

​In addition to music, Sharlene received her master’s degree in dance (ballet) in London. She began ballet training at the age of 5 and has performed in various productions with ballet companies. Her list of appearances includes Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, Alice in Wonderland, The Snow Queen (Frozen), The Firebird, etc. Besides, she has also performed in many musical theater productions such as The Sound of Music, The Wizard of Oz, Legally Blonde, Oklahoma, Annie, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Fiddler on the Roof, and more.
